Outdoor learning!

Outdoor teaching is an important part of our program. By teaching outside, we put the children in direct contact with nature.

 

They can observe and explore the different things they might find through touching and manipulating, for example, new materials (e.g. sand, snow, rocks, trees), insects (e.g. butterflies, ladybugs, birds, ants, squirrels, spiders), plants (e.g. flower, grass).

They make great discoveries and have many experiences that will complement what they learned in class.
